Amazon is offering a 14-day Sling TV free trial, up from three days, with the purchase of select Fire TV devices, which are now on sale for up to 42% off.

Cord cutters don't have to miss March Madness: Amazon is offering a 14-day free Sling TV trial with the purchase of select Fire TV devices.

Starting at $35 per month, Sling TV is a live TV streaming service that offers dozens of live channels and other programming options, including movie rentals and on-demand content. All of which you can stream through your new Amazon Fire TV accessory. Sling TV free trials typically only run for three days, though, so you get 11 extra days to try it out with this deal.

Take your pick of the various plug-in Fire TV Sticks or Fire TV Cube set-top box:

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Max is an excellent media streamer that adds Wi-Fi 6 compatibility for just $5 more than the standard model (you'll need a Wi-Fi 6 router and fast internet connection for it to make a difference). Save $15 now through March 19.

The Fire TV Stick Lite is the most affordable way to add streaming media and Alexa voice assistant to your 1080p TV. On sale through March 26 for $19.99, or $10 off, the simple black plastic rectangle supports HDR content, and comes with a familiar Alexa-tuned wand remote, as well as access to your favorite streaming services. It can also control compatible smart home devices like light bulbs, locks, thermostats, and more.

Amazon's base-model Fire TV Stick is faster and less expensive than ever, and comes with an Alexa-enabled voice remote out of the box, making it the best budget-friendly media streamer you can buy. With this sale, you can get it for just $24.99 through March 19.

Prefer a more substantial streamer? The Amazon Fire TV Cube combines the best features of a Fire TV set and Echo speaker to create one voice-controlled home theater. And, now through March 26, it's available for $69.99, or 42% off the retail cost.

A far-field microphone array can pick up your voice and activate Alexa with a wake word, while the included remote makes it easy to navigate when you don't want to speak. The Fire TV Cube boasts most of the same features as Fire TV sets—including 4K, HDR, Prime Video, Prime Music, Amazon Music, and an array of third-party video and audio streamers—but with additional storage space (16GB vs. 8GB on other Fire TV streaming devices).

It also pairs with other home automation devices, so you can adjust lights and thermostats or get a live feed from your security camera or video doorbell direct to the TV.

Not yet a cord cutter? The Fire TV Recast is a powerful over-the-air DVR that plays well with Amazon devices, including the Stick 4K, Cube, and smart television, as well as its Echo Show displays. We found that it's an easy way to add OTA recordings on top of any streaming services you plan to use. Designed to be hidden away near your router or antenna (not included), the 2.9-by-7.2-by-7.2-inch (HWD) black plastic box comes with a pairing button, USB port, Ethernet port, and power adapter plug. The two-tuner model with a 500GB hard drive (75 hours of HD content) is now $75 off through March 26. (The four-tuner model with a 1TB hard drive is also supposed to be on sale, but does not appear to be discounted at the moment. Keep an eye on the link below, though.)
